Well, once again I'm here to give another piece of my mind, what little is left...
First off I want to thank our president, George W. Bush, for assisting me in paying my back child support. I'm sure there are thousands of fathers who are also thankful for his assistance. You see, this past year President Bush issued the Economic Stimulus Check for all who filed their income taxes. Unfortunately, there was the stipulation that any people with outstanding arrearages would lose their checks to the local child support recovery office. So needless to say my $300 went to pay on my child support arrears.
Though, I may be grateful for the assistance, it did make me ponder some things. Say there are 100,000 fathers in Iowa who owe back support. Now if any were to receive from $300-600 as an economic incentive, it was rerouted to the state for back support. That amounts to an average of $45 million going to the state, rather than being used to boost the economy. Who really is benefitting from this whole situation.
Consider also the idea that there are 50 states in this union. There are fathers in all the states who owe atleast something. So now the federal goverment is rerouting millions out of the economy into state coffers. This is our country at work, people. I don't really think this is the intention of an economic stimulus package, to benefit the state coffers and not the economy. What do you think?!?!?..........

My Fireplug
With nods to Big Mike, I've decided to get my blog on. Now I call this my fireplug because this is where this where this old dog comes to piss on everything that pisses me off. Let me tell you I've seen enough in the last few days that I could fill this page countless times over. We all know you can't cure stupid.
So without further ado, let's get pissin'.....
With all that is happening in this fucked up world this is only one ending for all the idiots out there. See the artpiece below. There's your final answer. I mean, we've got the technology to converse throughout the world, even the universe, yet we still are stupid enough to travel by means of fossil fuels. Can't we find a better means than what we have now.
Hell, we sent people to the moon on as much computer knowledge as an old SEGA game machine. Yet we proceed to fuck up the planet with carbon emissions from planes, trains and automobile; not to mention the rockets we sent into orbit. Let's not forget the deforestation of the tropical rain forests in Brazil. That alone constitutes 25% of the carbon emissions. They say we need to reduce our carbon footprint. Well, I have been walking to work for the last five years, I don't own a car and travel means of an 18 speed mountain bike; in inclement weather I walk. This old dog is pretty healthly for all the exercise I get.
I may not be getting to any particular point, but I have to continue later.
